An apology...but also some good news.

I apologize for sending you on a scavenger hunt of sorts to different photoblogs. The good news is however, that I think we've finally found a home for our photoblog. In an attempt to display images better for us, and for the wonderful people we are able to photograph, we've set up a blog that's a little more professional. Trying something new...

A Beautiful Morning

Kaniela has finally learned to put himself to sleep at night, and for the most part is able to sleep through the entire night. It's been great for Cea because she doesn't have to wake up in the middle of the night to put him back to sleep. He gets up between 5:30 and 6:00 each morning, and loves it when we get him and bring him to lay down with us. On a good morning, he'll just cuddle up with us and fall asleep. This morning he was especially cute.

We haven't been able to get out and take any photos this past week, so I've resorted to going back and editing images that may not have caught my eye the first time.

Cea took these on her visit to see the Rich Ohana (her oldest Sister Jacki's family). She's got beautiful nieces, and had so much fun taking these. So much in fun in fact that she forgot to bring our camera back with her on the flight! Jacki and Ron...thanks for letting Cea take pictures of your beautiful girls!

Since Cea took the camera and my little model to California with her, I decided to just go back and edit more stuff that I haven't already posted. I love these pictures of Kaniela. I miss he and Cea so much while they're in California...I guess that looking through pictures of them will have to do for now!

My Beautiful Family

It's been so much fun for me to learn about photography. I've been taking an online photography class, and was doing very well with it until the last 4 weeks or so (it's a good thing it's not graded). Work has gotten very busy, and so I haven't been able to spend as much time learning the art as I'd like. I have learned one thing however: I love photography because it allows me to capture moments and personalities. In this post, as well as the last one, I really feel like I've been able to capture the essence of my little family. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
